PRO90 Plus is a dietary supplement in powder form. It is an excellent source of protein after training, as a daytime snack, or even at bedtime. PRO90 PLUS is based on milk proteins with different absorption rates (total milk proteins, calcium caseinate, whey proteins isolated by cross-flow microfiltration, enzyme-hydrolysed whey proteins), vitamins of group B, vitamin C, and digestive enzymes.

Specifications:

What it is: PRO90 PLUS is a highly versatile protein supplement, since it is primarily designed to provide a gradual release of amino acids into the bloodstream, using all forms extracted from milk proteins as raw material. Compared with egg, soybean, peas, cereals and their derivatives, milk proteins are the only ones with a complete, high-quality amino acid profile, guaranteed by the PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility-Corrected Amino Acid Score) chemical detection method, and the more recent IAAO (Indicator Amino Acid Oxidation) method.

When it should be taken: PRO90 PLUS is ideal after workouts, as a daytime snack and as a source of protein before going to bed. Due to its contents, which are made up of different types of fast-, medium- and slow-release milk proteins (total milk proteins, calcium caseinate, whey proteins isolated by cross-flow microfiltration, and enzyme-hydrolysed whey proteins), it ensures both immediate activation  and long-term enhancement of muscle protein synthesis, making it the perfect night-time aid.

For which Sports: in sports involving resistance training, such as bodybuilding, CrossFit™, callisthenics, weightlifting, and powerlifting, muscle protein synthesis is the key to developing muscle hypertrophy, improving over time and increasing performance. Muscle protein synthesis (MPS) is frequently neglected in endurance sports, when in reality it is extremely important and should not be overlooked. PRO90 PLUS contains slow-release protein sources and is therefore unsuitable for use immediately before or after training. It should instead be taken at least 180 minutes after a training session.

What it contains:

High Leucine content and MPS: due to its high content of the amino acid Leucine, approximately 2.25 g per 30 g dose, it provides an immediate spike in muscle protein synthesis (MPS).

Fast, medium and slow release of EAA: the different sources extracted from milk protein ensure the fast, medium and slow release of essential amino acids into the blood, resulting in a longer lasting, continuous protein synthesis.

Very low sodium content: the NaCl (sodium chloride, common salt) content is only 0.1 g per 30 g dose, of which only 36 mg is sodium, i.e. just below the recommended minimum daily sodium requirement.

Vitamins: a suitable quantity of B vitamins and vitamin C has been added to each dose of PRO90 PLUS to boost the cellular processes and immune system.

Digestive enzymes: bromelain facilitates the successful breakdown of proteins into amino acids, while the enzyme lactase helps prevent gastrointestinal disorders in cases of lactose intolerance; this means that PRO90 PLUS is also suitable for people who suffer from this condition.

Allergens: The product contains milk derivatives, including lactose, and soy.
