Amino acids are the “building bricks” of our muscles. Depending on whether or not our body can synthesise them, they are classified as essential and non-essential. Some of the essential amino acids play a significant part in supporting sports nutrition: L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine, and are known as branched chain amino acids. The English abbreviation is: BCAA.
The branched chain amino acids contained in Gensan BCAA, 100% KYOWA quality, have the unique feature of not being metabolised by the liver. In the presence of vitamin B6, they are quickly absorbed by the muscles, where they are used in the building of new muscle fibres. The branched chain amino acids are the ideal dietary supplement for people who do physical activity.
